COVID-19 Return-to-Work Program

As stay-at-home orders relax and businesses reopen, experts advise that widespread testing is crucial to ensure the safety of our communities. Total Access Urgent Care (TAUC) is committed to helping the St. Louis region responsibly reopen by offering COVID-19 virus and antibody testing. Testing employees is an important first step to help your business return-to-work sooner and more safely.

Employer Testing Solutions

To reduce the risk of a recurring outbreak of COVID-19 infections as people return to work, TAUC is offering a comprehensive COVID-19 evaluation. The testing options include:

  1. COVID-19 Virus Testing: This test diagnoses people who are currently infected with COVID-19. We are testing patients with symptoms, as well as those who are concerned they have been exposed. COVID-19 test results are typically available in 5-7 days.

  2. COVID-19 Antibody Testing: This test detects if you have been previously infected with COVID-19. Your body produces antibodies in response to an infectious agent such as a virus to provide protection against the infection in the future. These test results are typically available in 4 days.

  3. Symptom Evaluation: TAUC has extensive expertise and diagnostic technology to evaluate and treat all of your symptoms, including those related to possible COVID-19 infection.

How Does It Work?

  1. No Copays for Employees with Insurance: This is the simplest solution for the employee and employer. We are working closely with our health insurance partners who are covering COVID-19 related medical expenses, including COVID-19 virus and antibody testing.

  2. Employer Responsibility: If your employee has health insurance, consider option #1. By utilizing the employee’s health insurance plan, there is no direct expense for the employer or the employee.

    1. If your company prefers to directly pay for testing, complete this Medical Authorization Form to bill the visit directly to your business. For questions about completing this form, please email Kelly Baynes at kbaynes@tauc.com.

      1. The Employer cost for COVID-19 virus testing is $224.

      2. The Employer cost for COVID-19 antibody testing is $254.

      3. If your employees have symptoms, they will need to bring their health insurance information to be billed (for any insured employees, please see option #1).

  3. Simply walk-in or check-in to a TAUC location here. TAUC locations are open from 8 AM to 8 PM, seven days per week. The Webster Groves/Rock Hill location offers extended hours from 6 AM to 10 PM. For more information, call (314) 961-2255.

Steps to Safely Return-to-Work

  1. Medical evaluation by one of our healthcare providers.

  2. Return-to-work note when the employee meets the CDC criteria to resume duties after a COVID-19 infection.
