As the fastest growing and highest-rated healthcare organization in Greater St. Louis, patients are choosing to be evaluated at Total Access Urgent Care to avoid expensive bills and long waits in the emergency room.

X-ray

For comprehensive imaging, all locations are equipped with Digital X-ray. Digital X-rays are used to diagnose a wide range of illnesses and injuries. X-rays are frequently used to evaluate bones for fractures, lungs for pneumonia, and wounds for foreign bodies.

Common X-ray Services:

  • Chest, Lungs (Chronic Cough, Pneumonia, Bronchitis, Coronavirus)
  • Upper Extremities – Finger, Hand, Wrist, Forearm, Elbow,
  • Lower Extremities – Toes, Foot, Ankle, Leg, Knee
  • Hip, Pelvis
  • Spine
  • Skull – Head, Nose

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a diagnostic tool that uses sound waves to produce images within the body. If you need an Ultrasound, please visit any location to be evaluated by a board-certified provider. Once evaluated, TAUC will schedule an Ultrasound appointment at the Webster Groves/Rock Hill location.

Common symptoms and diagnoses:

  • Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
  • Testicular Torsion
  • Swelling of internal organs
  • Swelling of extremities
  • Vaginal Bleeding
  • Gallbladder disease
  • Prostate abnormalities
  • Inflammation of joints

CT Scans

CT scans provide a more detailed image than a Digital X-ray. It can be used to scan any area of your body and the image can then be used to investigate a greater range of symptoms, including but not limited to:

  • Appendicitis
  • Inflamed Gallbladder
  • Diverticulitis
  • Internal Bleeding
  • Kidney Stones
  • Head Injury
  • Stomach Pain
  • Swollen Glands
  • Headache
  • Coronavirus (COVID-19)
  • Lumps and Masses

All CT Scans are sent to a radiologist who will perform an in-depth analysis of the image and compose a written report of its findings. After the scan patients are provided with a written report as well as a treatment plan outlined by one of our urgent care physicians.
